Christliche Theologie versucht, Glauben vernünftig zu erklären, verständlich und verstehbar zu machen. Aber Christentum ist mehr als reine Rationalität. So begegnet man immer wieder einem Ringen damit, Unsagbares mitzuteilen. Wie das religiöse Phänomen "Mystik" in der christlichen Theologie zum Ausdruck gekommen ist, soll hier exemplarisch untersucht werden.
