The course deals with the linkage between (international) migration and ethics, in general. Particularly, course readings consider two intertwined strands of discussion in this emerging field. The first one reviews the ethical issues raised by both emigration and immigration, for instance, exit of skilled workers, admission and recognition of foreign degrees. The second approach looks at the evolving migration policy dynamics and the turn to the discussion of ethics. How does a perspective ethics help our understanding of migration policies and state action towards migrants?
