Befragungen sind weiterhin die gängigste Art der Datenerhebung in den Sozialwissenschaften. In der Regel geht einer Befragung die Ziehung einer geeigneten Stichprobee voraus.
Dieses Seminar führt in die Sitchprobentheorie und -praxis ein. Dabei werden sowohl verschiedene Stichprobenarten, Auswahlgrundlagen, als auch Gewichtungsverfahren behandelt.
In praktischen Übungen mit Stata erlernen die Studierenden die notwendigen Techniken, um selbst Stichproben für Befragungsprojekte zu ziehen.
