250246 Rechtsextremismus: Phänomen, Ursachen, Prävention (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Das Seminar widmet sich zunächst den unterschiedlichen Bestimmungen des Rechtsextremismus von Extremismustheorie bis zum „Extremismus der Mitte“ und der Abgrenzung zu anderen Phänomenen wie Rechtspopulismus oder Vorurteilen. Anschließend werden die Erscheinungsformen des Rechtsextremismus und deren Wandel in den Blick genommen.
Im zweiten Teil des Seminars werden mikro-, meso- und makrotheoretische Erklärungsansätze zum Rechtsextremismus und empirische Studien zu den Ursachen rechtsextremer Orientierungen vorgestellt. Auf dieser Basis werden die Möglichkeiten der Prävention in der politischen Bildungsarbeit und der (partei-) politischen Integration diskutiert.
Zum Ende der Vorlesungszeit wird es die Möglichkeit geben, an einem Argumentationstraining gegen Rechtsextremismus teilzunehmen, welches von Mitarbeiterinnen des Vereins "Gegen Vergessen - für Demokratie" durchgeführt wird. Dazu ist ein zusätzlicher Termin an einem Samstag im Januar/Februar (ca. 6 Stunden) vorgesehen. Die Teilnahme ist freiwillig.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist Interesse am Seminarthema und die Bereitschaft zur aktiven Mitarbeit.
