Die Arbeitswelt ist einer der wichtigsten Kontexte der Erwachsenenbildung. Berufliche Anforderungen, technologische Entwicklungen und organisatorische Veränderungen machen kontinuierliches Lernen zu einem festen Bestandteil moderner Erwerbsbiografien.

Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit Lernen und Weiterbildung in der Arbeitswelt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen betriebliche Weiterbildung, arbeitsplatznahes Lernen, sowie aktuelle Entwicklungen wie Digitalisierung, New Work und die arbeitsorientiertie Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung.

Anhand theoretischer Zugänge und empirischer Beispiele werden Bedingungen, Chancen und Herausforderungen arbeitsweltorientierter Weiterbildung analysiert. Das Seminar vermittelt Einblicke in ein zentrales Handlungsfeld der Erwachsenenbildung und eröffnet Perspektiven auf aktuelle Entwicklungen von Arbeit, Lernen und Organisation.
