A key focus of this seminar is understanding inclusive practices within the Global South countries. First, global inclusive education agendas are studied and discussed. Further, taking a comparative research lens, various global south countries and their inclusive practices are put under the microscope. During the seminar students undertake research on unfamiliar education contexts, discuss their research with experts and peers, and explore Global South theories and philosophies of education. This seminar invites students to challenge, and broaden their epistemological and ontological foundations of education practice and research.
