Die Lehrveranstaltung behandelt einfache, also undifferenzierte Sozialsysteme, darunter vor allem Gespräche und andere Arten von face-to-face-Interaktionen, und begriffliche Grundlagen, die teils der Systemtheorie und teils dem symbolischen Interaktionismus entstammen.
