Contents, comment

Das Seminar befasst sich mit den Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf den Sport sowie Effekten des Sports auf die Umwelt. Zunächst werden grundlegende Begriffe wie Emissionen, Ökologischer Fußabdruck, Carbon Footprint und Umweltbewusstsein konzeptionell diskutiert sowie Theorien zur Erklärung umweltbewussten Verhaltens erörtert. Darauf aufbauend widmet sich das Seminar verschiedenen Methoden zur Erfassung von Umwelteffekten und empirischen Befunden aus verschiedenen Bereichen des Sports (z.B. regelmäßige Sportpartizipation, Sportreisen, Sportevents und Sportorganisationen). Auf Basis der theoretischen und empirischen Erkenntnisse werden Handlungsempfehlungen für die beteiligten Akteure (z.B. Sporttreibende, Sportverbände, Sportpolitik) abgeleitet.
