300264 Hegemonie und Geschlecht: Historische und soziologische Perspektiven (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Die Veranstaltung diskutiert den Zusammenhang zwischen verschiedenen Formen von Hegemonie und Geschlecht aus geschichtswissenschaftlicher und soziologischer Perspektive. Sie wird einerseits in theoretische Debatten in beiden Disziplinen einführen, andererseits exemplarische Fallstudien erörtern. Dabei interessiert uns vor allem auch die Frage, ob bzw. wie Frauen an der Aus- und Umarbeitung hegemonialer Geschlechternormen und Geschlechterhierarchien aktiven Anteil haben. Zeitlich wird die Veranstaltung auch aus historischer Perspektive stärker auf dem 20. Jahrhundert fokussieren.

Diese Veranstaltung wird fakultätsübergreifend von Prof. Dr. Martina Kessel (Geschichtswissenschaft) und Prof. Dr. Tomke König (Soziologie) angeboten.
