300210 Einführung in den Neo-Institutionalismus (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Contents, comment

Ausgehend vom Sozialkonstruktivismus von Berger & Luckmann und den einflussreichen Arbeiten von John W. Meyer und Brian Rowan (1977) hat sich der Neoinstitutionalismus zu einem zentralen soziologischen und organisationstheoretischen Ansatz entwickelt. Im Seminar geht es darum, die Grundbegriffe dieser Theorieströmung (z.B. Institution, Legitimation, Isomorphie, Diffusion, Felder) anhand klassischer Texte zu vermitteln und darauf aufbauend einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Richtungen zu geben, in die er weiterentwickelt wurde (z.B. die „world polity“-Forschung oder die stärkere Mikrofundierung des Ansatzes).
