Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung werden die Begriffe von Bildung und Gesellschaft auf ihre Übereinstimmungen und Abgrenzungen hin bearbeitet.
Zunächst werden zentrale gesellschaftstheoretische Zugänge anhand der Überlegungen zur Systemtheorie nach Luhmann, der Kapital-Theorie nach Bourdieu und der Schultheorie nach Fend behandelt und vertieft.
Auf dieser Basis soll der Bildungsbegriff konturiert werden zu den Themenbereichen der klassischen Bildung (Humboldt), kritischen Bildung (Klafki) und k(l)einen Bildung (PISA, Kompetenzbegriff). Diese verschiedenen Auffassungen von Bildung werden im Anschluss auf die bereits erarbeiteten gesellschaftstheoretischen Zugänge bezogen und reflektiert.
Auf dieser erarbeiteten Theoriefolie sollen aktuelle Themen zur Bildungsungleichheit und -gerechtigkeit sowie zum Inklusionsdiskurs diskutiert werden.
Abschließend sollen mithilfe der Kritischen Theorie (Adorno) und des Capabilities-Ansatzes (Nussbaum) Perspektiven zum Verständnis von Bildung in Gesellschaft aufgezeigt werden.
