241012 Stochastische Modelle in der Biologie (VÜA) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Contents, comment

Die Veranstaltung vermittelt einen Überblick über wichtige stochastische Modelle der Biologie. Dazu gehören Modelle der Populationsdynamik (z.B. Verzweigungsprozesse und Ricker-Modell), der Populationsgenetik (z.B. Koaleszenzprozess und anzestraler Rekombinatonsgraph), des Auffindens von Krankheitsgenen (TDT-Test), der molekularen Phylogenie (insbesondere Markov-Prozesse auf Bäumen, HSR-Modell und LogDet-Distanz), sowie grundlegene Modelle des Sequenzvergleichs (alignment, BLAST). Besonderer Wert wird auf aktuelle Entwicklungen gelegt. 

Die Veranstaltung wird im Sommersemester 2025 geeignet fortgeführt, so dass insgesamt ein vollständiges Modul entsteht.
