Die Vorlesung vermittelt Grundlagen über Struktur, Inhalte und ökonomischer Bedeutung betrieblicher wertschöpfender Prozesse des Sachgüterbereiches (industrielle Produktion).
Für die Planung dieser Prozesse werden entscheidungsorientierte Modellierungen diskutiert und quantitative Methoden zu ihrer Lösung vorgestellt. Planungsverfahren der Unternehmenspraxis werden eingeführt.
Als Vertiefung werden Ansätze und Verfahren der Steuerung von Fertigungsauftragsgrößen und -reihenfolgen betrachtet.
