Der Kurs soll eine Übersicht über relativ voraussetzungslose Formen des sozialen Handelns und über ihren historisch wechselnden Stellenwert im Aufbau der Gesellschaft bieten. Zu diesen Formen gehören: Hilfe und Dankbarkeit, tauschförmige Abmachungen, offene oder versteckte Konflikte, Rangkämpfe unter Anwesenden, Gruppenbildung, Klatsch über Abwesende und vieles andere mehr.
