391040 Englisch für Molekulare Biotechnologen (S) (SoSe 2015)

This content-based language course is designed for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students of biotechnology.
The main focus of the course will be on training the reading comprehension and improving the ability to speak and write about scientific/academic topics, the latter including translation work.
Further we will be looking at learning strategies to enhance the participants’ scientific vocabulary, as well as, listening comprehension and grammar topics will be dealt with.
Class language is English (Level B1+ of the Common European Framework). The course includes all four skills of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
Students attending regularly, participating actively in class and completing at least 70% of the exercises and tasks will be awarded 3 ECTS.

Dieser Kurs richtet sich ausschließlich an die Studierenden der Molekularen Biotechnologie. Aufgrund der begrenzten Teilnehmerzahl werden bei einem Berwerber- bzw. Bewerberinnen-Überhang per Losentscheid verteilt.
