231131 Análisis del discurso. Pragmática del poder en América Latina (BS) (SoSe 2025)

En este seminario estudiaremos estrategias discursivas empleadas desde posiciones de poder en narrativas literarias y también en medios de comunicación. Veremos cómo es que a través de esos discursos se legitiman o se desafían distintas formas de poder en América Latina. Se trata de analizar las maneras en que discursos institucionales moldean percepciones públicas y refuerzan ideologías dominantes en detrimento de muchos otros discursos silenciados. También estudiaremos relaciones entre lenguaje y violencia simbólica. Observaremos cómo procesos de argumentación, performatividad, atenuación o hiperbolización contribuyen a la exclusión de grupos sociales fragilizados. Otro eje de estudio relevante será el análisis de los discursos de resistencia y la construcción de contrahegemonías. Examinaremos cómo comunidades indígenas, feministas o activistas utilizan el lenguaje para disputar el poder y reconfigurar las estructuras discursivas tradicionales en América Latina.
