Im Sinne einer Forschungswerkstatt werden im Seminar eigene Forschungsvorhaben zur Untersuchung Sozialer Bewegungen entwickelt, diskutiert und begleitet. Neben der Auseinandersetzung mit der Bewegungsforschung – mit einem Fokus auf die jeweiligen methodischen Zugänge verschiedener Studien – sollen bereits zu Beginn des Semesters eigene Fragestellungen entwickelt werden. Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die Reflexion und Begleitung der einzelnen Schritte der Forschungsvorhaben – von der Fixierung der Fragestellung über die Entscheidung für ein methodisches Vorgehen bis zur Auswahl und Interpretation des Untersuchungsmaterials.
