### Die erste Sitzung (07.04.2025) findet asynchron im Selbststudium statt. Bitte informieren Sie sich in Moodle zum Seminar. Die Freischaltung erfolgt Montag zur Seminarzeit. ###
Brettspiele sollen als Kulturgut angesehen werden. Mit diesem Appell ist eng verbunden, das Brettspiel als Medium erst zu nehmen. Damit einher gehen Überlegungen zum Brettspiel als Bildungsmedium. Mehrwerte des Brettspielens werden gerade im pädagogischen Diskurs vielfach diskutiert und hochgehalten. Aber Brettspiele können mehr als hard skills und soft skills zu stärken.
Brettspiele erzählen Geschichten und Brettspielen ermöglicht uns, in diese Welten einzutauchen. Im Spiel nehmen wir Rollen ein, die uns im realen Alltag fremd oder unzugänglich sind. Unsere Handlungen erhalten Gewicht, wir spielen und entscheiden das Spiel. Der soziale Aspekt des miteinander Spielens schafft zudem interpersonale Räume des Austauschs, die ebenfalls Bildungsmöglichkeiten aufwerfen. Gleichzeitig zeigen uns die Narrationen des Spiels weitere Aspekte auf - abseits der aktiven Spielendenrolle. Durch das Spielen treten wir - bewusst oder unbewusst - in Austausch mit dem Spiel und seinen Narrationen. Auf individueller Ebene werden Bildungsprozesse angestoßen, es werden Möglichkeiten zur Reflektion geschaffen. Die Frage, die wir uns im Seminar stellen wollen lautet daher: Welches Potenzial haben (moderne) Brettspiele im Hinblick auf Bildungsprozesse?
