Die Vorlesung gibt einen umfassenden Überblick in historische, beratungstheoretische und methodische Fragestellungen über Beratung in Sozialer Arbeit und in Bildungskontexten. Vorgestellt werden wichtige Pionier*innen und zentrale Positionen pädagogischer Beratung. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt neben theoretischen Einordnungen auf der Frage von Beziehungsgestaltung und Gesprächsführung in pädagogischer Beratung. Hierzu werden in ausgewählten Vorlesungen Referent*innen eingeladen. Die Vorträge werden jeweils in den darauffolgenden Vorlesungsterminen nachbereitet und eingeordnet.
