Die Geschichte feministischer Theoriebildung ist eng verknüpft mit der wechselhaften Geschichte sozialer und politischer Bewegungen. Im Verlauf dieser Lehrveranstaltung werden Schlaglichter auf ausgewählte Phänomene feministischer Theorie seit dem 18. Jh. geworfen. Historisierende Perspektiven ermöglichen hierbei ein breiteres Verständnis für die Entstehungshintergründe der besprochenen Texte, während soziologische Perspektiven die inhaltlichen Bezugspunkte konturieren. Ziel des Seminars ist es den Bogen feministischer Theoriebildung so zu spannen, dass es möglich wird über einzelne Ansätze, die diskutiert werden, das Spektrum feministischer Textgrundlagen zu differenzieren.
