300125 Soziologie des Genozids (S) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Contents, comment

Zentraler Ausgangs- und Bezugspunkt für die Seminargestaltung ist das gewaltsame Vorgehen der israelischen Armee gegen die palästinensische Bevölkerung in Gaza, verbunden damit, dass es insbesondere in Deutschland umstritten ist, dieses Vorgehen als Genozid zu bezeichnen. Wir möchten mit dem Seminar einen Raum zur informierten, anteilnehmenden und respektvollen soziologischen Diskussion geben und uns dabei u.a. mit dem Begriff des Völkermords befassen, mit seinen Ursprüngen sowie mit den Verpflichtungen, die aus seinem Gebrauch erwachsen.
