Die Medientheorie hat sich als eines der fruchtbarsten Arbeitsfelder innerhalb einer transdisziplinär ausgerichteten Kulturwissenschaft etabliert. Die Vielzahl der Ansätze führt allerdings auch zu einer gewissen Unübersichtlichkeit und zu Vermittlungsschwierigkeiten der Modelle untereinander. Ziel des Seminars ist es, besonders relevante medientheoretische Richtungen vorzustellen und sie miteinander in Beziehung zu setzen.
