Die Vorlesung setzt die Vorlesung Stochastik aus dem Wintersemester fort. Es werden Inhalte aus den Bereichen Statistik (Schätz- und Testtheorie) und diskrete stochastische Prozesse (Markov-Ketten, Martingale) behandelt.

Es sind Kenntnisse der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie, wie in der Veranstaltung Stochastik vermittelt werden, nötig.

Für die Module 24-B-SP und 24-B-PSE wird die Prüfungsleistung aus einer mündlichen Prüfung über Inhalte der Stochastik II bestehen.
Für das Modul 24-SW-Sto besteht die Abschlussprüfung des Prüfungsportfolios aus einer mündlichen Prüfung über Inhalte von Stochastik und Stochastik II.
Dazu werde ich mündliche Prüfungen in den zwei Zeitfenstern Ende Juli/Anfang August (31. und 32. KW) und Ende September (38. und 39. KW) anbieten.
Des Weiteren kann in den begleitenden Übungen die Studienleistung für die Module 24-B-SP, 24-B-PSE(-5a/b) und 24-SW-Sto erworben werden.
