In the seminar, the central theories and models on the question of the emergence resolution of conflicts in societies are discussed. Concrete social conflicts that groups experience and enter into in societies will also be addressed. Students can choose their topics according to their interests and competencies from their previous studies. In addition, we invite colleagues from the newly founded Conflict Academy at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Conflict and GEwalt Research (IKG) to talk with them about their project.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Every participant takes actively part by preparing an input (30min.) for a session.
