Filme bilden einen eigenen Zugang zur Christentumsgeschichte - für viele Zeitgenossen dürfte es der einzige Zugang sein. Insofern sollte man solche Filme aus mehreren Gründen auch im Religionsunterricht kennen und für ihn nutzen. Dies darf jedoch weder unkritisch geschehen noch so, als wäre der Film ein minderwertiges Medium.
Das Seminar eröffnet Zugänge zu Figuren der Christentumsgeschichte (Augustinus, Luther, Bonhoeffer u.a.). Evtl. werden nicht nur biographische, sondern auch thematische Filme zur Kenntnis genommen. Die Filme sollten vor der Blockveranstaltung angeschaut werden, sie werden im Seminar allerdings zum Teil wiederholt. Die Übernahme eines Referats zum historischen Kontext der verschiedenen Hauptfiguren wird erwartet.Um die Termine für das Blockseminar rechtzeitig zu planen, wurde ein Doodle eingerichtet, in das sich Interessierte bitte eintragen mögen:
