Descartes´ „Meditationen“ werden zwar meist in der Erkenntnistheorie und der Philosophie des Geistes behandelt – doch der Verfasser sah in ihnen vor allem eine religionsphilosophische Schrift, in der die Existenz Gottes und die Unsterblichkeit der Seele nachgewiesen werden sollten. Im Seminar sollen die „Meditationen“ primär unter dieser Perspektive besprochen und kritisch diskutiert werden.
Diese Veranstaltung kann als Äquivalenz für den Lektürekurs (FsB 2009, Modul N2 Grundmodul) studiert werden. In diesem Fall werden 3 LP (benotet) vergeben.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten (Einschreibung ab WS 11/12) ist das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern bzw. 10-20 Minuten. Die genauen Anforderungen werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.
