Die Vorlesung soll sozialisationstheoretische Grundlagen vermitteln. Dabei ist die Geschichte der unterschiedlichen Bezugstheorien und Vertreter:innen der Sozialisationsforschung Ausgangspunkt im Semester. Ein inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt liegt im Anschluss auf der Bedeutung von sozialen Ungleichheiten für das Aufwachsen von Kindern und Jugendlichen und die detaillierte Vorstellung einzelner sozialisationstheoretischer Modelle (wie dem Modell der produktiven Realitätsverarbeitung). Die Vorlesung thematisiert vor allem erziehungs- und sozialwissenschaftliche Theoriebezüge, gleichzeitig stellt sie empirische Bezüge her. Über die Prüfungsmodalitäten (Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen) wird in der Vorlesung informiert. Die Vorlesung wird über Materialien im Lernraum begleitet und erfolgt literaturbasiert.
