Um dieses letzte Buch der Bibel, in Sonderheit auch um die Zahl 666, ranken sich sowohl in christlichen als aber auch in anderen, eher als esoterisch zu charakterisierenden Kreisen zahlreiche Legenden und Mythen. Diese Legenden und Mythen kritisch zu prüfen und zugleich eine sichere Basis für eine weiterführende historische und theologische Beschäftigung mit dieser Schrift zu gewinnen, ist das Ziel dieser Veranstaltung.
