Verschiedene Autoren haben den Versuch unternommen, die soziologische Systemtheorie im Sinne einer Kritischen Theorie der Gesellschaft zu lesen. Nach einer Darstellung der theoriegeschichtlichen Ausgangspositionen werden in dem Seminar Texte der "Kritischen Systemtheorie" unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Rolle des Rechts diskutiert.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.

Die Lektüre aller Texte ist Pflicht. Sie ist durch sechs kurze schriftliche Exzerpte nachzuweisen, die jeweils am Tag vor den entsprechend gekennzeichneten Sitzungen im STud.IP abzulegen sind

Für die Modulprüfung im Modul "Rechts- und Regulierungssoziologie" ist eine Hausarbeit erforderlich. Hausarbeiten müssen spätestens am 31. März 2015 (eine Woche vor Beginn des Sommersemesters) in elektronischer und schriftlicher Form abgegeben werden.

Hausarbeiten können auch während des Semesters geschrieben und im Seminar vorgestellt werden. Dadurch entfällt die "Nachbereitung" des Seminars in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit. Vorschläge werden ggf. in der ersten Sitzung diskutiert. Bei Interesse ist Kontaktaufnahme vor Semesterbeginn empfehlenswert.
