Die spezifische Kinder- und Jugendliteratur entwickelt sich seit jeher in einem dynamischen Spannungsfeld von pädagogischen und ästhetischen Anforderungen. Im Wechselspiel unterschiedlicher lesedidaktischer Bezugsnormen und gattungsspezifischer Formkriterien stellt sie ein ausgesprochen vielfältiges literarisches Feld dar. Im Seminar werden wichtige Entwicklungen und Tendenzen der jüngeren Kinder- und Jugendliteratur anhand von bedeutsamen Beispielen nachvollzogen und gattungsspezifisch eingeordnet.
Die Lektüre mehrerer, auch umfangreicherer kinderliterarischer Werke ist Teilnahmebedingung!
