Die Vorlesung setzt den Überblick zur Geschichte der deutschen Lyrik seit dem 16. Jahrhundert, den ich im Sommersemester 2012 begonnen habe, fort und konzentriert sich auf das 18. Jahrhundert. Sie richtet sich ausdrücklich auch an Studienanfänger und an Anfänger in der Lyrikanalyse. Aus Einzelanalysen heraus wird ein Überblick entwickelt und wird versucht, die Lyrikgeschichte des 18. Jahrhunderts bis zur Romantik zu strukturieren.
Wer durch die Teilnahme an der Vorlesung Leistungspunkte bescheinigt haben möchte, muss an einer Tagesexkursion teilnehmen, die am Freitag, 28. Juni 2013 stattfinden wird und nach Bad Arolsen führt. Dort werden wir das Schloss besichtigen und im Christian Rauch-Museum in Arbeitsgruppen arbeiten. Christian Daniel Rauch (1777 – 1857) gehört zu den bedeutendsten Bildhauern des Klassizismus. Der Besuch des Museums soll dazu dienen, eine anschauliche Vorstellung von der Ästhetik des Klassizismus zu gewinnen.
