Die Vorlesung ist die erste in einer auf 3 Semester angelegten Mastersequenz zum Thema "4-dimensionale Mannigfaltigkeiten". Indextheorie elliptischer Differentialoperatoren auf Mannigfaltigkeit ist das erste zu besprechende Thema. Auf der unten verlinkten Internetseite findet sich eine Art Werbeblock zu den Ergebnissen, auf die die Mastersequenz abzielt. In der dreisemestrigen Sequenz wird eine Reihe von Themen aus der algebraischen Topologie, der Differentialgeometrie, aus der Theorie partieller Differentialgleichungen, aus der algebraischen und der komplexen Geometrie besprochen werden.
Achtung: Diese Vorlesung beginnt in der ersten Novemberwoche!
