Brief overview
The seminar focuses on the impact of new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation on market conditions/dynamics, (financial) stability, structural change, and economic growth. Participants will read and present selected scientific articles on specific topics (e.g., algorithmic collusion, automation and labor markets, AI and financial stability, ...) and submit an essay which critically reviews the discussed manuscripts at the end of the course.
Organization
There will be an organizational meeting on 21.10.2022 11:00 (s.t.) in W8-107, with a brief introduction and assignment of topics.
