Im pädagogischen Kontext ist Kunstrezeption, also das Erleben, Erfahren, Verstehen und Deuten von Kunstobjekten, immer ein aktives Geschehen, in dem produktive und reflexive Phasen ineinandergreifen und in einen lebendigen Dialog münden. Das Seminar offenbart kunstwissenschaftliche Hilfsmittel und Methoden, die der künstlerischen Befragung und Sinndeutung von Kunstwerken dienen.

Methodisch vielfältig machen wir uns mit historischen und aktuellen Ansätzen kunstwissenschaftlicher Werkanalyse vertraut. Geübt wird die Befragung ausgewählter Bildwerke älterer und neuerer Kunst vor dem Hintergrund entscheidender Paradigmenwechsel.

Das Seminar findet hybrid statt: wöchentlich online und in Präsenz an einem Tag vor den Originalwerken im LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur, dem Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster und dem Stadtmuseum Münster.
