Bildungstheoretisch begründete Wirkungserwartungen an den Sport basieren auf der Leitidee einer vernünftigen, von spezifischen Kompetenzen getragen und verantwortbaren Selbstbestimmung im Kontext der Bewegungskultur. Diese kann durch Erziehung zwar gefördert aber nicht erzwungen werden. Demnach sind Bildungserwartungen nicht nur für Begründungsdiskurse der Bewegungskultur, sondern ebenso als Prädiktoren individueller Bildungsprozesse für eine empirische Wirkungsanalyse möglicher Bildungseffekte relevant. Im Seminar werden 1.) Bildungserwartungen im Hinblick auf den Sport theoretisch hergeleitet und begrifflich konkretisiert, 2.) Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede hinsichtlich verschiedener Settings und Akteure analysiert sowie 3.) empirische Befunde diskutiert
