239866 Hofmannsthals Lyrik und der europäische Ästhetizismus (S) (WiSe 2012/2013)

Das Frühwerk Hugo von Hofmannsthals wurde wie das Stefan Georges formal zunächst als Fortsetzung des europäischen Symbolismus und Ästhetizismus aufgenommen. Erst bei näherer Beschäftigung mit den z.T. hermetischen Texten treten die Unterschiede, damit auch das Neue dieser Lyrik hervor. Im Seminar sollen die frühe Lyrik und lyrische Dramatik, die poetologischen und literaturkritischen Schriften des jungen Hofmannsthal besprochen werden.
