Filoxenia is a social and cultural institution, which is found in different peoples and regions from antiquity to the present day and we are going to follow some key characteristic paradigms of this historical and cultural route. The aim is to highlight the complex aspects of the hosting, acceptance and integration processes with an em-phasis on current events and related studies.

General information: the seminar language is English and a good opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge in English academic language. For this reason the general interest in reading English texts and the willing to discuss in English is necessary.
