In diesem interdisziplinär zusammengesetzten Seminar (Studierende und Lehrende aus Literatur- und Erziehungswissenschaft) sollen literaturbezogene Social Media (insbesondere Twitter) analysiert und aus literatur- und erziehungswissenschaftlicher Perspektive interpretiert werden. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei literarische Texte und Formen, die das Aufwachsen und Erwachsenwerden in der Gesellschaft thematisieren und die mittels social media diskutiert werden.
Die literatur- und erziehungswissenschaftliche Interpretation wird hierbei verzahnt mit sozialwissenschaftlichen Datenanalysen (mixed methods). Für die Datenanalyse nutzen wir im Seminar das Open-Source-Programm R bzw. die frei verfügbare Software RStudio. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse in diesen Programmen erforderlich – die Einarbeitung in die Software erfolgt im Seminar. Günstige Voraussetzung für eine erfolgreiche Seminarteilnahme ist die Bereitschaft, sich mit einem Gegenwartsphänomen ("Netzliteratur") zusammen mit Studierenden aus einer anderen Fachrichtung auseinanderzusetzen und die Datenauswertung in kleinen Projektgruppen vorzunehmen.
