Ziel des Seminars ist es, exemplarisch zu der Thematik „Studienbeginn unter stresstheoretischer Perspektive“ im Rahmen einer Interviewstudie die Phasen eines qualitativen Forschungsprozesses zu durchlaufen.
Die Aufnahme eines Studiums kann als sehr „stressend“ erlebt werden, da diese vielfach mit erheblichen (Lebens-)Veränderungen sowie neuen Anforderungen und Eindrücken einhergeht. Auf Grundlage verschiedener stresstheoretischer Ansätze (z.B. der Life-Event-Theorie nach Holmes/Rahe 1967 oder der transaktionalen Stresstheorie nach Lazarus/Folkman 1984; Lazarus 1991) soll im Rahmen des Seminars eine erste theoretische Annäherung an diese Thematik erfolgen. Im Anschluss soll eine eigene Interviewstudie geplant und durchgeführt werden.
