Das Seminar legt Zugänge zu aktuellen Themen und Phänomenen in modernen Gegenwartsgesellschaften. Nach einer Einführung zu den Termini "Sozialisation" und "Gegenwartsgesellschaft" wird ein breites Spektrum in ausgewählten Feldern abgedeckt, u.a.
- (Netflix-)Serien
- Corona Pandemie
- Deutscher Gangsta-Rap
- Flucht und Zwangsmigration
- YouTube-Stars
- Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt
- Politische SozialisationSignum der Veranstaltung ist dabei eine ungleichheits- und gesellschaftstheoretisch orientierte Reflexion auf den erziehungswissenschaftlichen und sozialtheoretischen Zentralbegriff der 'Sozialisation'.
Das Seminar ist als synchrone digitale Veranstaltung geplant, versteht sich bei entsprechend dominierender Bedarfslage der Studierenden aber flexibel und kann in andere Vorgehensweisen und Formate wechseln.
