Das Seminar führt in die historische Soziologie als eine Perspektive ein, die sich Prozessen

der Entstehung, Veränderung und des Abbaus sozialer Strukturen zuwendet. Es widmet sich dabei speziell der Frage, welches begriffliche Repertoire der soziologische, insbesondere gesellschaftstheoretische, Theoriebestand für eine Analyse solcher Dynamiken bereitstellt. Von Interesse sind dabei auch Fragerichtungen, die nicht Wandel, sondern Stabilität als problematisch nehmen und so sozialen Mechanismen der Aufdauerstellung und Konsolidierung sozialer Gebilde nachgehen. Schließlich widmet sich das Seminar auch dem Sachverhalt, dass „Gesellschaftstheorie“ selbst in einem sozialen Prozess situiert ist und mit einem historischen Kontext in Wechselwirkung steht.

Das Seminar findet wöchentlich online statt und beginnt am 03.11.20 mit einer Einführungssitzung. Der Zoom-Link wird rechtzeitig über den E-Mail-Verteiler publiziert.
