The Introduction is part of the Introductory Module of HEPS and provides a more in-depth overview of the field. Topics include the methodology of scientific research, scientific explanation, relations among scientific fields, social epistemology.
The course is more advanced than the philosophical parts of the Introduction to Science Studies, but it is still suited for all students, including beginners, interested in gaining an overview of philosophy of science.
