Diese Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über die zentralen Themen der Arbeitspsychologie und zwar die theoretischen Grundlagen (z.B. Handlungsregulation), die Arbeitsbedingungen (z.B. Arbeitsanalyse, Belastungen in der Arbeit), die Arbeitsgestaltung (z.B. zeitliche Gestaltung der Arbeit) und die Konsequenzen von Arbeit (z.B. Arbeitszufriedenheit, Dysfunktionales Verhalten).

Der Inhalt der Veranstaltung ist für die Basis-, Vertiefungs- und Nebenfachprüfungen in Diplomstudiengängen sowie für das Modul O (Anwendungsfach III: Organisations- und Angewandte Sozialpsychologie) im Studiengang BSc relevant. Die Vorlesung kann auch im Rahmen der individuellen Ergänzung besucht werden.
Die Vorlesung ist auf maximal 160 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ausgelegt. Beim ersten Termin werden die Plätze verlost, daher ist für die Auswahl zu dieser Vorlesung die persönliche Anwesenheit beim ersten Termin zwingend erforderlich. Studierende im Studiengang Psychologie (Diplom, BSc) werden beim ersten Termin vorrangig aufgenommen, sofern sie anwesend sind und am Losverfahren teilnehmen.

Zum Erwerb von 3 Leistungspunkten bzw. dem Curriculumsnachweis ist eine „regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme“ notwendig. Dies umfasst die regelmäßige, sinnvolle Beantwortung von Übungsfragen zur Vorlesung.
Um 5 LP im Rahmen der Modulprüfung O im BSc-Studiengang Psychologie zu erwerben ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das Bestehen der Modulklausur erforderlich.
Studierende des Diplomstudiengangs Psychologie können durch das Bestehen der Abschlussklausur einen Schein erwerben.
Maßgeblich ist die Ankündigung beim ersten Veranstaltungstermin.
