Niemand beginnt einen Gestaltungsprozess ohne jegliche Vorbereitungen. Am Anfang steht immer die Idee, der Gestaltungsimpuls. Das griechische Wort ‚prolegomena’ (Singular: prolegomenon) meint das ‚vorher gesagte’, ‚die Vorbedingung’. Gemeint ist damit das, was mich umtreibt, wenn ich mich für eine Werkstatt angemeldet habe. Vielleicht ist es das, was ich mir schon immer vorgenommen, aber bisher nie ausgeführt hatte. Ich setze mich mit dem Thema der Akademie, mit dem Programm der Werkstattleiter, mit den angemerkten Zielen und dem Wesen der Materialien und Möglichkeiten auseinander und überlege, wie ich meine Gedanken und Vorstellungen in den Prozess des Machens einfließen lassen kann. Es geht also um die Umsetzung von Kenntnissen, die Interpretation von Ideen, das Ordnen und Komponieren sowie die Kommunikation mit ästhetischen Mitteln auseinander.
Um von der prolegomena zum Kunstwerk zu gelangen, stehen Euch die aufgeführten Werkstätten zur Verfügung.

Nobody starts a design process without any preparation. At the beginning there is always the idea, the design impulse. The Greek word 'prolegomena' (singular: prolegomenon) means 'previously said', 'the precondition'. This refers to what concerns me when I register for a workshop. Maybe that's what I've always wanted, but never done. I explore the subject of the academy, the program of the workshop supervisor, the stated goals and the nature of the materials and possibilities, and how I can incorporate my thoughts and ideas into the process of making. It is about the implementation of knowledge, the interpretation of ideas, the ordering and composing as well as the communication with aesthetic means apart.
