Die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Werk gibt also die Gelegenheit, sich einen Gesamtentwurf des Pädagogischen anzueignen, als auch seine kritisch-emanzipative Tendenz zu würdigen und sich mit ihr auseinandersetzen. Zudem geraten hier auch innerhalb einer pointiert vorgetragenen Zeitdiagnose die Kollateralschäden der Moderne in den Blick Im Kern geht es immer wieder um die Frage: Wie läßt sich das Pädagogische in (post-) modernen Zeiten angemessen und verantwortlich zusammendenken?
So entsteht eine Pädagogik des (armen)Subjektes- seinerseits Versprechung und Zumutung zugleich. Im Seminar wird es sowohl darum gehen, den vorgestellten Gesamtentwurf sowohl nachzuvollziehen, als auch (kritisch) zu würdigen. Dies kann der notwendigen Entwicklung eines eigenen Standpunktes nur nützlich sein.
