250204 Radicalisation (S) (SoSe 2020)

Contents, comment

The seminar is designed and conducted together with Dr. Arin Ayanian. The main topic of the seminar is: Why and how do individuals and groups radicalize themselves in the field of political, religious and social extremism? The seminar will also look at what can contribute to prevention and intervention. Our scientific view is central, i.e. we want to examine what research writes and says about it.
In each session a team of participants will present a self-chosen extremism or terrorism phenomenon and discuss it with the participants. will help with the selection of theories and studies. We will also invite guests on some topics who are doing research or working in NGOs.
