360013 Religions for Future? Religion und Mitweltschutz (S) (SoSe 2020)

Trotz über 40 Jahre alter Umwelt- oder Mitweltschutzbewegung steuern wir derzeit auf eine Klimakatastrophe zu. Und das auch, obwohl Verantwortung für die Mitwelt, also nicht nur für die Mitmenschen, in den Religionen seit Jahrtausenden gelehrt wird. Ja manchmal scheinen konservativ-religiöse Menschen gar kein Interesse an einer Verantwortungsübernahme zu haben, sondern machen es sich lieber bequem in einem Weiter-so. Doch was sagen die Religionen denn nun zum Thema? Welche Ressourcen bieten sie für mitweltbewusste Menschen heute? Stehen sie nur für eine Vergangenheit, in der sie das Leben der Menschen noch mehr bestimmten als heute oder nicht auch für eine Zukunft in einer gesunden Welt? Gibt es so etwas wie „Religions for Future“?
