In dieser Veranstaltung werden ausgewählte Gegenstände aus den statistischen Grundlagenveranstaltungen vertieft und insbesondere mittels der Software R zur Anwendung gebracht. Die Veranstaltung ist in Blöcke gegliedert, wobei erst im Laufe der Veranstaltung entschieden wird, welche Blöcke in diesem Durchgang vertieft werden. Zur Auswahl stehen Blöcke zu den Themen:

  • Dichteschätzung
  • Wahlprognosen
  • Bootstrapping
  • Lagetests
  • Kurvenanpassung
  • Logistische Regression
  • Nichtparametrische Regression
  • PCA und CA
  • Zeitreihenanalyse

Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage (Stichwort Corona) wird die Veranstaltung wesentlich in Form eines Selbststudiums durchgeführt. Dazu gibt es wöchentlich Anleitungen.
Die Veranstaltung beginnt in der 17. Kalender-Woche (also ab den 20.4.20).

Die Veranstaltung wird von virtuellen Tutorien begleitet, die eine Woche später, also mit dem 27.4.20 beginnen.

Requirements for participation, required level

Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass die Studierenden die Veranstaltungen

  • Statistik I
  • Statistik II
  • Ökonometrie

gehört haben und wesentliche Gegenstände dieser Veranstaltungen beherrschen.
Weiterhin sollten Grundlagen bekannt sein, wie sie in den Veranstaltungen

  • Einführung in die Informatik
  • computer gestützte Methoden

vermittelt werden.

Bibliography

Zu der Veranstaltung gibt es ein umfangreiches Skript, auf dessen Basis das Selbststudium umzusetzen ist.
