300251 Empirische Sozialforschung in Krisen-Zeiten: Soziale Ungleichheit in der Corona-Pandemie (S) (SoSe 2021)

Das Seminar richtet sich an Master-Studierende mit Interesse an quantitativer empirischer Sozialforschung. Anhand der Survey-Daten des SOEP-CoV Projekts "Sozio-ökonomische Faktoren und Folgen des Coronavirus in Deutschland" (www.soep-cov.de) werden verschiedene Aspekte sozialer Ungleichheit in der Corona-Pandemie beleuchtet. Im Fokus des Seminars steht die praktische Anwendung multivariater Analyseverfahren zur Untersuchung von Ungleichheitsstrukturen und Folgen der Corona-Krise für Individuen, Haushalte und Gesellschaft. Erfahrungen im Bereich der quantitativen Datenanalyse und ein sicherer Umgang mit Stata werden vorausgesetzt.
