In this course, various multivariate procedures (eg, factor analysis, regression analysis) will be presented. The focus lies on the practical application of the procedures, their possibilities and requirements as well as the interpretation of their results. If necessary, the mathematical basics are also considered. Data from sociological studies are used and research questions from the field of sociology (social structure analysis, youth sociology, criminology, etc.) are discussed.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
